Well, I joined BlogClicker to see how they do compared to Blog Explosion. While they are both offering free service Blogclicker offers 2 upgrades at $4.95 & $9.95 which give you several hundred free exposures as well as free banner impressions. The $4.95 package also upgrades you from 2:1 to 1:1 and the $9.95 package upgrades you to 1:1.5, basically giving you 1.5 credits for every one blog you check out. They do have some other perks with all the packages including a "downline" of people. If someone joins through your referral then you can collect a percentage of credits based on their viewing. Not a bad deal for a few extra bucks. They also accept paypal if you do not have a credit card.

Both services offer you the opportunity to buy credits for a small fee which you can use to drive traffic to your site or you can convert them to banner impressions.

If you are artistically challenged as I am, then you can go to Ad Designer where they have some custom templates that you can edit to meet your needs. It too is free and easy to use and you can make several banners to change it up a bit.

The other nice thing is that you can be a member of both and they won't get their panties in a twist like some companies.

Edit: I just sent an email to blogclicker inquiring as to some of their services and must say I am impressed. I recieved an answer with in minutes not days!!! They explained how you earn money which is cool, so here is their answer...

If any of your direct referrals purchase credits or banner impressions, or upgrade their membership, you get the 10 or 20% of each sale. If they keep their upgrade month to month, for example, you would get that commission each month.
