I got the appointment with the pain management folks changed from way to early on Friday to tomorrow afternoon. I also spoke to their billing department about how they will work with my insurance company. Since my insurance company said this is a 90/10 split I wanted to know what my 10% would be and did I have to pay it at the time of the visit. The lady was really nice and let me know that under my insurance plan they would be a specialist which means no 90/10 and that I just pay the $15 co-pay for specialist visits. I was expecting to have to shell out $50 for the visit and then whatever else it might be for meds he prescribes.
I have to run out later on and get the CT, X-Ray's and MRI films to bring with me so I will try to get them on the scanner so you can see what exactly I am always babbling about.
